Celebrating the Journey: Simon & Angel Become Masters of Light!

Welcoming Our Newest Academy of Light Level 4 Graduates

There are moments as a teacher that remind you why you began teaching in the first place. Watching students grow in knowledge, confidence, connection, and purpose is certainly one of them.

Today, we are delighted to celebrate Simon and Angel, our newest graduates of the Academy of Light – Masters of Light – Level 4 advanced training.

Their journey has been about far more than completing lessons or earning certificates. It has been an experience of learning, practicing, stretching beyond familiar territory, supporting one another, and discovering just how much can happen when like-minded people come together with a shared intention.

And what a journey it has been!

Simon Started Seeking Protection and Discovered Inner Strength

Simon came to this work initially wanting to better understand energy protection after a difficult personal experience. What began as a search for answers became something he could never have anticipated.

As he progressed through the training, he discovered not only new knowledge and tools, but also the strength that comes from learning and working within a supportive team.

Simon expressed: “It just feels you’re not on your own… To be with like-minded hearts and souls is just quite something.”

Simon describes his experience as a journey of the heart—one that has helped him develop greater inner strength while recognizing how much more there is still to learn. Sacred Space and the protection practices have become part of his daily life, while the experiences shared with his classmates have given him a deeper appreciation for teamwork and connection.

Perhaps one of his most meaningful observations was that something that began as an extremely difficult experience ultimately opened the door to an entirely unexpected path of growth.

In Simon’s words: “Something that turned out really nasty has turned out really well.”

And through it all, he says he has learned to approach the work as a “warrior of the heart.”

Angel Enjoyed Learning by Doing

Angel’s journey highlights another important part of advanced Academy training: we don’t simply learn—we practice.

She embraced the detailed materials, PowerPoints, resources, and weekly instruction, but what especially resonated with her was putting that learning into action.

Angel shared: “I don’t know what I thought this was gonna be, but it’s 10 times better. We have been through so much. We have learned so much.”

Throughout the training, Angel and Simon worked closely with Deborah, a prior student. They shared experiences that brought laughter, tears, challenges, insights, and plenty of moments when they could only look at one another and say, “Can you believe that?”

Angel particularly appreciated the opportunity to experience the different roles used in our team approach—Navigator, Communicator, and Protector. Practicing each role gave her a new respect for how different responsibilities come together seamlessly when a team works with trust and common purpose.

As she reflected: “While they’re all different, they’re all seamless. They all come together, and everybody plays a very important role on the team.”

She leaves this level with what she describes as strong foundational skills—and enthusiasm for continuing to learn and grow.

The Power of Learning Together

One theme comes through especially strongly in both reflections: community matters.

Simon repeatedly speaks about the strength he experiences from working alongside others rather than trying to navigate everything alone. Angel speaks about having one another’s backs and coming through challenging experiences together. Both acknowledge Deborah’s contribution to their journey, as well as the support and experience of the larger team.

That is one of the things I treasure most about the Academy of Light.

We can provide lessons, books, videos, tools, and techniques. Those things matter. But there is another kind of learning that happens when people practice together, support one another, ask questions, share discoveries, and grow in confidence.

Sometimes the greatest realization is simply: I don’t have to do this alone.

The Journey Continues

Graduation doesn’t mean there is nothing left to learn. In fact, Simon may have expressed it best when he said that the more he learns, the more he realizes there is still so much more to discover.

Angel is already looking forward to the next chapter of her training as well.

That is exactly as it should be.

Our goal has never been simply to complete a course. It is to build a foundation of knowledge and experience that students can continue to practice, deepen, and carry into their lives and work.

Simon and Angel, congratulations on this wonderful accomplishment. Thank you for your dedication, your willingness to learn, your trust in the process, and especially for the heart you have brought to this journey.

We are honored to have you as part of our Academy of Light family and look forward to seeing where the journey takes you next.

Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep shining your beautiful light.

Many Blessings,
Lois Hermann & the Academy of Light Team
