When we look with eyes wide open, we see our world is quite a mess. Yes, we must want it to change, believe change is possible, and know that it will change for the better. It is this knowing that makes positive change possible. Do you understand the difference between wanting, believing, and knowing? The Guides of the Collective say that knowing is best; it is the strongest. Let’s explore why.
Wanting is Lacking…
Wanting implies you are in a state of wanting or lack. Because you don’t have the thing that you want, you end up with the feeling of wanting what you don’t have. That negative energy sends the message of want to your subconscious mind, which creates more of the same lack. Therefore, the object of your desire remains in a state of wanting. When you want something, you seldom achieve it or draw it to you.
Believing is Better…
At least there is a belief that you can attain what you wish for. When you believe that you can do something, it is possible to attract what you believe in. However, beliefs are often adaptations of someone else’s thoughts, opinions, and ideas. They are external to the self. Beliefs are programmed by parents, schools, religions, society, and cultures. We are trained as children to adopt certain beliefs to fit in and be accepted by others, so we become more of the same. We adopt similar beliefs to those we associate with so that we don’t rock the boat or question the status quo. Beliefs are taught, trained, and implanted in our minds. When people espouse certain beliefs, notice that they are parroting what others have indoctrinated them to believe in the past.
Knowing is Different…
It comes from within, from personal experience, from tuning into our inner guidance or awareness. When we know something, it is based on the wisdom we have gained through experiential learning. Our inner knowing, or intuition, is often rooted in our ability to tap into our wise mind, higher power, or the energy of the great unseen. When we know something, we often can’t explain why, and we don’t really feel a need to do so. We just know it. When we use knowing to manifest our desires, what we desire is attracted to us like a magnet. As we embrace the knowing that something is going to happen, that confident energy attracts what we know, and it becomes our reality. When we are in a state of knowing, we can manifest our reality. As we know something, we take on the role of an observer, with little need to prove ourselves. We just know… and are comfortable with what we know.
Be Aware…
While sometimes those with strong beliefs feel the need to impose their beliefs on others, those who come from a place of knowing may offer to share what they know while inviting others to come to their own knowing in their own time. There is no need to force anything. Notice the difference between those who attempt to force beliefs vs. those who invite you to discover for yourself. When invited to search for yourself, you discover the truth for yourself and come to your own place of knowing. This is why the Guides say that knowing is best; it is the strongest. Know for yourself… that is the best.
When we hold the image of the positive in our hearts and minds, we make it manifest. As we look upon the chaos in our world, we are observing the product of lack created by a society of want, with beliefs handed down over the years by troubled people. When we evolve our mindset to one of divine awareness, we clear the cobwebs of past beliefs and embrace the knowing that things are shifting and that our world is in transition to a better, more wonderful, healthier, more beautiful, and more peaceful place.
May you follow your heart and be blessed with true knowing…
Many Blessings,
Lois Hermann
